Hi, on the DOM when i hover my mouse on a sell price to trade there is a highlighted box around the offer volume but it is hidden behind the price, on the bid side it is fine it is around the volume and price.

To understand this we need to see an image showing this. Follow the instructions here:
https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=PostingInformation.php#Image

The rectangle highlight box is not going to cover anything underneath it. It is nothing more than an outline.

That is not the appropriate method to provide an image of the Trade DOM. There is a very well-defined method described here and that is the only method we will accept:

I cant use that method because i have to hover my mouse over the price in order to show you so cant do screen shots.

OK, yes actually that is true.

However, if you press the Print Screen key on the keyboard when the pointer is hovering over the order entry columns, you can capture the entire screen. You can then paste it into the Windows paint program and save portion of it.

This is unusual you would only notice that in the sell column. Not sure why that would be. However, try changing the color settings for "Trade DOM Buy/Sell Column Lines (also Order Entry Highlight Box)"

Refer to the documentation for this here:
http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_ChartTradingCustomizingGraphics.php#TradeDOMColorsLineStylesLineWidths

It is certainly not not unusual to notice this effect in both columns.
