Hi, I notice the FXCM forex quotes in spreadsheet has more than 5 digits (eg. 1.2349592392 instead of 1.23495). Am I missing something? Please advise. Thanks. |

You can set the format. Thanks for the link. I think my question is why quotes from FXCM has more than 5 digits. Shouldn't all forex quotes be 4-5 digits for most pairs?

We cannot say for sure why this is the case but one reason just has to do with how floating-point numbers are represented in computers.

If you are comparing price levels in formulas, you may want to round price values to a rounded tick size, to remove floating point errors. Here's one way: http://www.sawtoothtrade.com/example-3.html Date Time Of Last Edit: 2015-08-14 01:38:06
