Everything was fine yesterday, today sierra can't figure out my entry price to calculate p/l, and it confused my position. I had to go into TWS to flatten out. I'm not sure what data i need to provide to help.

We see you are running version 1329. Our you still having the problem with that version?

Information about this is here:
Notice: Important Update for Interactive Brokers Users | Post: 74190

Also set Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Trade Settings >> Use IB Provided Position Average Price to True. This should solve the problem if it involves the Position Average Price.

yes. that is the version i was having trouble with. My configuration is static, no changes that i am aware of since yesterday. I did have that 'use ib provided price' checked yesterday when it was working fine, and it was checked today.

I was unsuccessful even using 'refresh trade data from service'. It did not show any entry price on the dom, but did have my brackets oco working.

I beleive the problem is related to the symbol name. Please note that yesterday and last week it was SPY SPY SPY and now its prefixing the exchange being filled on.

At the time you have a Current Position for SPY, go to the Trade >> Trade Orders and Positions >> Positions tab. Is the Symbol, Trade Account, Service Position Average Price all correct?

Regarding those symbols with the Security Type and Exchange on them on the Trades tab, those can be disregarded. Those are from historical order fills which have been inserted.

Actually, we are doing some testing now. Perhaps there is a problem with stock symbols that we are not aware of.

We have run a test now. We do not see any problem with the tracking of a Trade Position when using Interactive Brokers for SPY.

So therefore the question is: At the time you have a Current Position for SPY, go to the Trade >> Trade Orders and Positions >> Positions tab. Is the Symbol, Trade Account, Service Position Average Price all correct? Does the Symbol match the symbol of the chart?

p/l being correctly calculated today, back to normal. the symbol names are back to SPY vs SPY-STK-BLK and such.

hoping this was a small glitch on IBs end with the order data pump. will report back with better details if it happens again
