I'm trying to create a watchlist of various indices and market breadth indicators for EOD analysis but am struggling to locate them and can't seem to find a search option whereby you type part of the name and a list of suggested options comes up.

For example I'm now connected to the SC Forex Data (FXCM). Using the Find Symbol button there are various headings including Indexes where I can find the SP-500 and Nasdaq Comp but not the Russell 2000, and Market Stats where there is a small range of breadth indicators.

If I then connect to SC Historical Data there are the same headings but a lot more symbols, some of which seem to be duplicated in the Indexes and Market Stats and are the same stats contained in the SC Forex Data.

I've read the documentation section which lists all the symbols but can't find clarification of the scope contained within the above data feeds or the different symbols for what appear to be the same statistic, e.g. if I'm looking for a Cummulative Advance-Decline line or New Highs-New Lows what is the best way to quickly locate it?

Update to the latest release following these instructions here:
https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/download.php#FastUpdate

After the update, set Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Service to "SC Data-All Services".

This is multiple data services all combined in one.

You overlooked the Russell symbol. They are not listed in alphabetical order based on description. It is: $IUX

For new highs and lows, all of these symbols are listed here:
https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/SierraChart_RealTime_And_Historical_Symbols.php&SymbolsPage=Indices#INDEX

The new Highs and Lows symbols only have Historical Daily data. Not Intraday data.

For this:
Cummulative Advance-Decline line

You need to use NISS-NYSE. This is the symbol to use to get the Advance-Decline line. However, to get the true Advance-Decline line, you need to add the Advance Decline Line study to a chart of this symbol.

The delay is because there are many details to this support request.

We will see about adding search capability to the Find Symbol window.

I've updated to v1325 but now when connected to either SC Data All Services or SC FXCM data the chart downloads all historical data but does not update in real time. Also the Countdown Timer study I have gets to zero and stays there. If I Disconnect and Restart the program, the countdown timer works until zero again and the chart downloads historical data but still does not update.

Edit: the "SC Data All Services" now appears to be working intermittently (its just paused for 80 seconds) and the connection seems to be a bit unstable with FXCM symbols: there is a slight delay in the printing of bars compared with FXCM Trading Station platform and the countdown timer study indicator sometimes jumps from 0.02 to 3.02 or holds at zero then goes to 2.57 or even 1.50 on a 3 minute bar which didn't use to happen when connected to FXCM data.

When trading FXCM CFDs I'd prefer to be connected to the FXCM data - is there a fix for this?

If there is a problem with real-time updating for symbols that should be updating in real-time, then update the Symbol Settings as explained here:
https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_GlobalSymbolSettings.php#UpdateSettingsSteps

If there still is a problem, what is the EXACT symbol of the chart which is not updating? Just give us one of the symbols only.

Most likely this was caused by a connectivity problem on your side:
now appears to be working intermittently (its just paused for 80 seconds)

The Forex Data Feed cannot be "unstable" when using SC Data-All Services compared with SC Forex Data (FXCM). It is the same data feed.

You can always install another copy of Sierra Chart and set it to use SC Forex Data (FXCM). Here are instructions:
Using Multiple Data and Trading Services at the Same Time

The data should look the same.
