Hello traders, programmers,
can anyone code a "bar color" for ID/NR4 day, please?
ID stands out for "inside bar" and NR4 stands out for narrowest range of the last 4 days.
I notice there are both ID and NR indicator options in SC but can't find this combination.
ID/NR4 is a robust and tested quantitative model for breakout trades, some great trends occassionaly occur out of this day formation and there is an edge in it.
I would just like to have it visualy displayed.
Thanks!!!!
(here is a sample for NR7 visualy displayed: goo.gl/q2uZqM )

I decided to take a shot at this. Works with ColorBar, Background, Point High/Low. Enjoy.

Hello again,

is it possible to "convert" that .dll above so that it will work in the latest SC version?

Thanks!

EuropeanTrader, did you get this updated?

Similarly, do you have the 3 day triangle/breakout coded?

You can also do this with Color Bar Based On Alert Condition.
I set the SGs for all to Background Transparent.

AND(ID1.SG1<>0, ID2.SG1<>0)

See attached screenshot

Could someone help with SC study and code for 3 bar triangle? Signal if the third bar, has: high below prior 2 bar high, low above prior 2 bar low.
