If you have not already read the Getting Started Tutorial, then it is important that you read this page and understand it before posting questions on the Support Board: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_GettingStarted.php#Introduction This is required reading for all Sierra Chart users. Sierra Chart should not be learned from videos. The documentation which consists of text and images is the master reference for Sierra Chart. Videos can be helpful to learn about certain features of the program but they are never a replacement for the documentation. We are going to be doing some updates to the Getting Started page in the next day to add a few things that should be there based upon questions we see on the Support Board. Very technical material which applies to certain functionality of Sierra Chart can only be communicated through written documentation. As a general policy, we do not favor videos but we do have a few of them to provide overview and basic instruction for some features of the program. The basic problem with videos is they get out of date very easily and are next to impossible to maintain. They are also extremely hard to review for technical accuracy after they are done. It is highly inefficient and time-consuming to watch a video to see if it is up-to-date. and if it is not up-to-date, the video has to be redone. This is the reason why we do not use videos. Videos also cannot communicate a large amount of information in a way which is easy to make reference to. Professional documentation writers will agree with what we said above.
