When I first set up linked charts with the global cursor on, the crosshair displayed the small thick cross at the centre point as is standard. Now a pointer has appeared on the crosshair and I can't work out how to get rid of it. Please advise how to get back to the default crosshair.

You can set this through the Windows Control Panel >> Mouse >> Pointers settings.

The other potential problem is that you have attached a Trade DOM window to the main Sierra Chart window.

"You can set this through the Windows Control Panel >> Mouse >> Pointers settings" I cant see this thread in the top menu - could you clarify further.

Yes I do have a DOM open and linked to the open charts - if this is the problem is there a work around?

Update - I closed the DOM window and restarted the program but the pointer is still present.

I have gone through that section and have Chart Values selected under Tools with the little pop-up box. When I go to Control Panel>Mouse>Pointers and select "Precision Select" it still doesn't change the pointer on the charts and doesn't save - the next time I go there it has gone back to "Normal Select".

If there is no other quick explanation why it suddenly changed then I'll live with it for the time being as there are more important issues to resolve.

The documentation is very complete as to why there can be a problem with this. We have no further information to provide.

The only explanation we would be aware of is that it must be a system specific issue.

I think I know what he is trying to do, there is an easy way but I cant recall, will report in when I re-figure it out.....

When you choose another tool, like drawing a rectangle, want it to default back to cross hairs.
