1. I am using version 1304. I am running this SC test procedure (Spreadsheet System for Trading Test Procedure) After step 17 nothing happens. "17. An order will have been submitted and the Trade Position will be established. You can confirm this by looking at cell J5. It will contain a nonzero value." This cell still contains a zero. BTW, as Data/Trade Services, of all SC services I only see "SC Forex Data (FXCM)" listed, not "SC Forex Data". Also SC Historical Data and SC Market Stats. 2. Is the issue mentioned above the reason no trades are being filled while replaying? Or is it a separate issue? I already have consulted the page https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_SystemsAlerts.php#IgnoredSignals All settings as advised have been selected in SC. But still no trades are filled. Green and red arrows do appear on the chart when value in K3 and M3 become TRUE. Please refer to copy of log below. Looking forward to your advice. Thanks a lot in advance. === (log removed) Date Time Of Last Edit: 2015-10-26 19:05:10

Follow again through the latest procedure here: Spreadsheet System for Trading Test Procedure If an order signal is being ignored, what does the Trade >> Trade Service Log indicate as to the reason why an order signal was ignored? You say: I already have consulted the page https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_SystemsAlerts.php#IgnoredSignals All settings as advised have been selected in SC.
However, the main question is did you check the Trade >> Trade Service Log for the reason why a order signal is ignored. What did it say? We apologize for the delay. There must be something obvious you are not doing correct. What is the Chart Number of the chart containing the Spreadsheet System for Trading study? And what Sheet number in the spreadsheet you are entering the signals from? We will also put together a video demonstrating this, as soon as we can. I have run the Replay again with my own Spreadsheet for Trading. Still no trades are being opened / closed. Only arrows do appear where the actual positions are to be opened / closed. Chart no. = 1. Sheet no. = 1. Refer to print screens. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2015-10-30 22:06:53

In general what you need to do it set the Signal Only on Bar Close Inputs to No to simplify the configuration. And change the formulas you are using to simple 1 and 0 values. From there, you can gradually make changes until you determine what the problem is. We do not provide automated trading system debugging and we do not know what the problem is. We can only provide you good and clear well-written documentation of explaining how everything works and it is up to you to determine the problem. We will add the above information to the documentation. And once again, this is the relevant documentation for this kind of issue: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_SystemsAlerts.php#IgnoredSignals Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
