1. can you create tick bar charts in your ChartTrader DOM chart?
if so, can they be as little as 1 tick per bar....? 2. when adding to an existing position, does the 2nd position automatically assume the same ATM strategy as that used to place the 1st already in place? ...or, can you make the 2nd unit with a different strat? 3. the position size column and order entry can be replaced with a market depth column, but can both columns be present, one for market depth and the actual execution column slightly further outside...? 4. can you change a strategy on the fly...? or are you stuck with the strategy you started off with. 5. do you have a link to a video that demonstrates the ChartTrader DOM that gives it a full featured demo to watch...? 1. Yes refer to: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_ChartSettings.html#TimePeriodPerBar 2. It can be the same or different. Or you can Scale In. All of this is supported. Refer to this page: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_AttachedOrders.html 3. Yes this is all possible. Refer to: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_GlobalTradeSettings.html#ChartDOMColumnDescriptions 4. Once the orders have been submitted, you cannot change the Attached Orders which are working other than their price or quantities. However, certainly you can set the Trade Window to a different Attached Order configuration at any time. 5. We do not rely on videos very much. Refer to the documentation here: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_ChartTrading.html#ChartDOM That section really is quite straightforward and clear as to how the functionality works. You should not have any trouble understanding it. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users.
