I am trying to use the Swing High/Swing Low study. I would like a continuous line from one SH/SL point to the subsequent one. I chose Stair Step and Line for the settings which sounds like it should do what I want, make continuous lines that resemble stairs. But it just draws a short line over the top of the swing point. Is there a setting to get the desired result? Thanks

That study cannot draw a stairstep line because the output values between swings is zero. You can use the Spreadsheet Study study to draw a stairstep of the swing Highs and Lows. Add the Spreadsheet Study study -set the Chart Region to 1 -give it a name in the Spreadsheet Name field -set the Draw Style of SG1 and SG2 to Stair Step. -put this in K3: =IF(AA3>0,AA3,K4) -put this in L3: =IF(AB3>0,AB3,L4) The formulas assume the SH is in column AA and the SL is in column AB; edit as needed.
