Hi Guys, Does anyone have this scale setting issue on the chart... But the scale changed to 3.1, pls see 2nd cut out.. Have to change manually to 20, it cannot remember the setting... try many times, still back to square one?? pls help to solve, thanks! |

The settings for scale in my chart have always correctly saved. AT the bottom, Check "Constant Range with Auto-Center: Use Last Price Only. When the Scale Range is set to Constant Range Auto-Center , then when this option is enabled, the Last price of the last visible bar is the center point of the constant range scale. When this option is disabled, the center point of the constant range is the midpoint of the high and low of the last visible bar. http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=doc/doc_Scaling.html#ScaleWindow |

Try your settings, still the same... I had this issue when upgrade to the latest version, originally my charting had been using the past years with the same settings and does not have this issue. Please help! |

In the first image. The scale is from 1387.0 to 1367.0. That is a 20 point constant range. What are you looking for it to do? I am on version 988. I made a change to the scale, saved the chartbook & closed it, when I reopened the chartbook it had the correct scale settings. I'm not sure what you are talking about. |

Let me explain... In the first image , i had set the scale to 20, the candlesticks is small and can see all in the middle of chart. After saved and close, then open the same chart, the scale setting goes to 3.1, and the candlesticks spread all over the chart...The scale setting cannot set to what I want, instead it just auto set to any value once you re-open the chart. What I show now is a simple chart for problem solving, but there are over 10 studies and 50 overlays which I have not put in, since a simple chart had this scale issue is which I after upgrade to the latest version 988, I use back the older previous version, it is OK with my full chartings and scale settings are intact...I had been using this setups for the past 1 year why it happen now? pls advise! |

We tested what is described in post #1 and we could not duplicate the issue and we do not see why this would happen unless the symbol of the chart changes.

We now see the problem. It has to do with using the Continuous Futures Contract option. This will be resolved in the next release.
