I was interested to know why SC does not make the documentation available for offline access. I spend a lot of time in trains and planes and could make better use of the time by swatting up on some aspects of SC that I have not paid enough attention to. If the reason SC does not make this available is because of a concern that users will raise support issues by referencing out of date documentation that they previously downloaded, why could the download not include a watermark or footer that says 'this documentation is only valid as at {date downloaded]'? There seems to be a history of users asking for offline access, see: Offline documentation http://www.sierrachart.com/supportboard/showthread.php?t=28252 as two examples I found with a simple Support Board search. We are seeing if it there is a way we could possibly do this. It will take some time though. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Is there any progress on this? I really miss this feature at this time of the year when one can be travelling a lot for holidays or on holiday with inadequate internet coverage. Thanks |

We have not had any time to work on this. So there has been no progress. We will have to look up the task related to this.

Thanks for doing this: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/Contents.php https://www.sierrachart.com/downloads/SierraChartDocumentation.zip I just noticed it now, so I am not sure when you added it - don't recall seeing it mentioned in the Change Log, so thought I would make this post in case others are interested. How often is the off-line version updated? I ask because I just had a quick try of it and noticed the offline page (CQG Trading Platform Service) I was looking at was last updated 17 September, yet the Live online version has an updated date of 5 October. |

The offline documentation is updated weekly. The last update was 1 week ago. A new copy has been just uploaded.
