See attached screen grab of your documentation for the Daily Range Bar study. The highlighted piece says to apply a displacement to the ATR study (or ADR study if using that one) so that the ATR is caluclated EXCLUDING today's trading - this is what I want. However neither of the ATR or ADR studies offer a displacement option in 'Setting & Inputs'. Could you confirm that therefore by default both the ATR and ADR studies EXCLUDE current days trading. Thanks |

The documentation is incorrect. The study Subgraph Displacement setting is not going to have any effect and is not supported. This is going to be removed from the documentation later today.

Thanks, But can you confirm that both the ATR and ADR studies EXCLUDE current days trading given there is no displacemEnt parameter. Normal industry practice is not to include the current, incomplete day when calculating an ADR or ATR. |

They will include the current day. We have to look at the Daily Range Bands study to see if we can incorporate what you require. Should not be a problem. In next version, a new input was added to the Daily Range Band study to allow the daily range input to be displaced.

In next version, a new input was added to the Daily Range Band study to allow the daily range input to be displaced.
The "Displacement" input works and displays the upper and lower bands properly. However, when I refer to the Daily Range Band study from an alert / color bar study, I always get an error with the Lower Range Band when I refer to it (SG2). Additional, I have not been able to verify the Upper Range Band (SG1) as to whether an alert study produces an alert - although no error messages was received. Specifically, I am using the CrossFromBelow / CrossFromAbove in the alert / color bar study. Am I missing something or it is something that can be fixed in the next release? What is the Alert Formula you are using? And what is the error message?
