This already exist by duplicating a chart. Refer to: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/helpdetails20.html Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. yea i know that way but its not to efficient , as in ninjatrader , u open a new chart and pick symbol and then pick a saved template . just easier imho then duplicating if that charts not open then having to reload new data into it , thanks |

There is an easier way and that is to use File >> Find Symbol >> Duplicate Active Chart. The documentation here has been updated to explain this: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/helpdetails20.html#DuplicatingCharts Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. If you want to share a chart, then do the following:Select Chart >> Graphics Settings and uncheck Use Global Graphics Settings Instead of These Settings. Set the color and other graphics settings. Here are instructions: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_GraphicsSettings.html Select File >> New Chartbook. Go back to the prior Chartbook through the CB menu containing the chart you want to share. Use Chart >> Duplicate Chart to Chartbook and duplicate it to the new Chartbook you created. Go to the new Chartbook through the CB menu and select File >> Save. Enter the File Name you want to save it as and press the Save button. Share the Chartbook file as explained here: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_Chartbooks.html#CopyChartbook Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
