I recently requested an SC demo from the IronBeam website, I was sent an email and it mentioned that a Sierra Charts agent would be contacting me.

Could you provide us a copy of this email message because this does not really make sense.

You already have a Sierra Chart account. It is the one that you have logged into this Support Board with. We have activated this account for two weeks.

Download Sierra Chart from this page:

Log into Sierra Chart with this account.

In the case of Iron Beam, most likely they are using CQG, so follow the CQG set up instructions here:

Ok so I successfully managed to login into the SC platform, just trying to set things up.

What would be the correct service to select? (TT fix) given that this is a demo via IronBeam?

Iron Beam no longer uses TT FIX. Most likely they are using CQG.

Did they give you connection information for CQG?

Hi there,

I am currently connected to the "SC Historical data " , (the green "DF" indicator is showing). but I noticed that there are no candles displayed...what gives? I did browse through the online manual.

2. also is data available on weekends?

3. The symbol I am looking at is F.US.EPZ15

That is a CQG symbol and not a Sierra Chart Historical Data Service symbol.

You need to use ESZ15. You will find the symbols in File >> Find Symbol.

Data is available on weekends.

I believe the support agent from Ironbeam is in contact with Sierra Chart to find the connection information for CQG....

We do not have the CQG connection information. This would be for Iron Beam to work with CQG on that.
