compact tool values window keeps disappearing

I have "show compact tool values window" checked on my main SC page. I have many detached windows placed on different monitors. It seems to work fine "globally", except for when I return to "home" screen and click on that chart, it disappears until I move cursor to another monitor and click on that chart. Then it reappears and if I simply move the cursor back to "home" monitor, it will stay visible until I once again click on that screen/chart. What gives???

Hello Sierra - A suggestion for improvement in your help files. Topic - MISSING COMPACT TOOL VALUES WINDOW. In respect to many threads on this topic- e.g at: compact tool values window keeps disappearing Missing Compact Tool Values Window I think it would be very worthwhile to add to the help topics that if the Cursor is in 'Hand' mode, that the Compact Tool Value (CTV) Window will not show and the cursor should be set to Crosshairs. Even after following all your help to reset the CTV it did not appear until I selected crosshairs, it may be obvious to you but not to the end user Regards, Mark Help topics at Chart Drawing Tools: Cannot See Values Windows? We will see what we can do to improve the documentation, but keep in mind that whether the Compact Tool Values Window shows up when other tools are selected is dependent on the setting for Global Settings >> Tool Settings >> Chart Values >> Action When Other Tools Selected.
