In response to my inquiry: "...When placed, does the entire order (all three components) reside on the exchange server, or is only the 'parent' order sent to the exchange while the OCO pair are stored on CTS servers until confirmation of the execution of the parent?" CTS Support advised: "The initial trigger order is sent to the exchange, but the OCO portion sits on our servers until we receive a fill notification, at which point both OCO legs are sent to the exchange." I guess, as good as it gets. From my standpoint, it still makes me more comfortable than the alternative of relying on my connection to initiate the OCO component.
