Q. How exactly connected data and trade service to the SC software? For example if I have connectivity RT of 60 ms to SC and I have connectivity to my trade servers (directly) RT of 30 ms and I use SC Chart trading - will my order sends to the trade server directly (of course minus in-software delay) or it goes through SC servers? On the other hand data supplied to the charts from the same trade service (but likely different server) - will this data come directly from the service to my machine or its routing through the SC servers? Thank You ! |

All orders always go straight to your trading service. Orders never go to a Sierra Chart server. Whether market data comes from Sierra Chart servers or not, depends upon the service you are using. TranAct is the service. Also IQ Feed - I guess both goes direct except Historical for TA if no IQ is used, correct? |
