Hi Sierrachart,

I followed Rithmic's guide for entering symbols for "Options on Futures" and can't seem to get it to work in SC.

Can you please give me an example what symbol I should type in exactly to create a chart in SC when using Rithmic's data for the following two "Options on Futures" contracts?

thanks!

You need to look up the options symbol in the Rithmic R|Trader software. Change the '.' in the symbol to a '-' and use that symbol in Sierra Chart.

This is all.

Three other things related to this.

1. The attached screenshot is of an "Options on Futures" chart I loaded. The Bid and Ask Prices (shown in red and yellow text at the top right of the screenshot) will only show up as 0.000 no matter where I scroll the chart. Any idea why this is happening?

2. When I add the "Bid & Ask Prices" study to the chart mentioned in item 1 nothing happens. In other words, no additional lines or marks appear on the chart. Any idea why this is?

3. I am unable to get the chart mentioned in item 1 to load more then 1 days worth of data. The setting I have the chart on are show in attached screenshot "2.jpg"

thanks!

1, 2. Refer to the documentation here for this study:

3. This will be solved in the next release. It will download historical Minute data instead of Tick data. Large amounts of tick data is complicated to download from Rithmic and we will never support that from Rithmic.
