I have no Reverse Color (RC) set in Customize Chart Header but for some reason on some charts the symbol in the Region Data Line (chart header) is highlighted with a red background. This is unwanted and distracting. Graphic Settings is set to >> Ticked >> Use Global Graphic Settings Instead Of These Settings. While the docs on Region Data Line aka Chart Header show images of black text on a white highlight background (RC) and black text on a red highlight background one can conclude that if the chart is black and text white then the black text on white background is the Reverse Color (RC) highlight. What is the black text on red background ? I can find no explaination of this highlight and how to get rid off it. I don't use chart Title Bars so this is problematic. How do I permanently remove these black text on red background highlights so that they do not reappear in future. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2015-09-13 00:18:42

The red highlight you are seeing at the top left of the chart indicates there is an Alert Condition formula which is TRUE on the chart. A cross referece to this highlight in Region Data Line / Chart Header (Working With Charts) would be helpfull in minimising search time and need to consult Support Board. To: Anyone else seeking above solution. If the Alert Formular is move from Chart Settings >> Alerts to Studies >> Studies to Graph: >> [any study of choice] >> Alerts then the above black text on red background highlight does not appear in the Region Data Line (Chart Header) symbol text when the alert condition is true. The Alert appears to operate as normal in every other respect, with the exception that the Alert is no longer local but global and may not be a suitable compromise for a particuar Alert that would be prefered local only. There may be an option to disable the red highlight when the Alert is local in Chart Settings >> Alerts. No time at present to determine if this option is available. A most satisfactory charting package, otherwise. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2015-09-12 10:35:03

We will update the documentation about this. There is no option to disable the red highlighting for a TRUE Alert Condition Formula in Chart Settings.
