This is a message from the OEC system and we see the attached Trade Window configuration file has consistent Time in Force settings for the parent order and the Attached Orders. So we suggest setting the parent order and the Attached Orders to a Time in Force of Day.

If you need further help, provide this error to OEC support and see what they say.

reply from my broker, after a thorough investigation: My clearing firm is saying we are receiving the rejection from Sierra.

i do have 'reject stop orders that will automatically fill' checked in trade settings. not sure if this could be it. either way, these orders behave fine in simulation mode.

please look into this further.thanks

The rejection is happening from OEC. That is 100% definite no matter what anyone says.

As long as the Time in Force setting for both the parent order and the Attached Orders are the same, this error should not occur.

We just tested this now using the OEC API server and we do not get that error message.

If you continue to have this problem then we recommend unchecking Global Settings >> General Trade Settings > Use Server-Side OCO and Bracket Orders. That will solve it. If that solves it, then please do not ask us about this further because we cannot help with it.

No. This is unrelated.

this was solved by changing all orders in the order strategy to Day type instead of Good Til Cancel/GTC. now both limit and market orders are being accepted by OEC server.

thank you for investigating.
