We have made a small change and also restart Sierra Chart to solve this problem. If there is any missing data in the chart, follow the instructions here: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_HistoricalIntradayData.html#RetryDownloadDataInChart Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. The problem is solved, however, I noticed there are some missing data, and even after following the instruction above to download again, the data is not patched. Attached is the screenshot after re-download the data. The sysmbol of the data is FGBLZ5 Date Time Of Last Edit: 2015-09-08 07:20:45

Specifically what data is missing? We need to know the time zone and the date-time range. Also, when providing a chart, only provide it by following the method here and no other: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=PostingInformation.php#Image Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. We did not observe any missing data by looking at 1 minute chart bars for the current day, 2015-09-08 for this symbol. But we reloaded historical data from another source. So if you still notice what appears to be missing data, then that data must be correct. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users. gents, this is not an isolate issue - after version 128X (maybe v1282 or 1284) - i cant get charts to load, keep getting the "waiting to......" message for 30+ mins. Never happened on 1282 or 1284 which I have rolled back to now as I cant seen to fix it with 1293. the data being downloaded is 2years of intraday data on ES (for example) with iq feed, and i have extended the amount o data to the stored on data/trade setting from 186days to a bigger number but its doesn't seem to help version 1282/4 works just fine any suggestion |

The issue you are having definitely has a different cause then the issue in this thread. You are having a problem with historical data downloading when using IQ Feed. We have tested this now and we do observe this specialized issue that you are having which is different than the original issue in this thread and we are solving it now. We are closing this thread. We have released version 1294 which solves this problem described in post #6 with multistage downloads from IQ Feed. Update by following the instructions here: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/download.php#FastUpdate This problem only affected IQ Feed and TeleTrader.
