Are you referring to the the session times for Daily chart bars? Those cannot be changed unless you use Intraday data.

Refer to Session Times page here:

You need to set the Session Times for the Intraday chart:
https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_SessionTimes.php

Set the Start Time to 17:00:00 and set the End Time to 16:59:59

what you say is correct for minute charts, but it will show the wrong volume profiles and volume by price when building the whole day's profiles from intra day data.....and its because the daily range or daily chart built historically maybe correct but the moment you build it from intra day data using the periodicity "1-0-0" the wrong chart shows up......for example see attached image

So it appears that what you are referring to is the chart bars that show trading on Sunday before 17:00 which would actually have a timestamp of Saturday for bars of 1 Day.

We would have to add an option to filter those out. We will put that on our list of things to do.

We do not know how soon we can get to it, but we will try to work it in quickly.

Not sure what you mean by Saturday time stamp - maybe we are saying the same thing - but the correct terminology is below

I am saying the the correct way to show Forex bars on any forex market is have an option to have intraday data start (as start of week) on Sunday 1700hrs (first of week ending on Monday 1659 (without using that "Load Weekend data" check box)

Therefore the forx market will have the option to display have 5 days as below-

Day 1: Sun 1700 - Mon 1659
Day 2: Mon 1700 - Tue 1659
and so on

Day 5: Thur 1700 - Fri 1659

All other extraneous data is superfluous, and we should have the option, (as one exists in all FX plaforms as well as Ninja trader such as above)

The professionals use NYC close, and I hope we can build this option in to be on the same level as that, otherwise all FX charts built from intraday data are incorrect

If you can build it soon that would be great, otherwise I cant build those charts

THanks

Set the chart bars to 60 minutes per bar. You will see that on Sunday there are chart bars before 17:00. Confirm this is the case.

That is what causes that extra small range bar with a Saturday timestamp. We assume you are referring to that extra small bar on the Intraday chart.

We can solve that. It should be done by the end of the week.

Yes - correct there is data before 1700hrs EST Sunday, that's ok - its market data which falls out side of NYC CLose Charts.

if you can figure out a way for us to plot 1700 - 1659hrs starting Sunday as Day 1 that is what's needed.

That little extra bar that forms needs be removed if Weekend Data is checked needs to be removed
