I recently updated from SC 1261 to 1282. I am using a rithmic connection with Deep Discount Trading/Wedbush as my broker. The ZBU5 weekly chart is not showing properly (see attached). If I change the weekly chart to a daily chart then it displays fine. I tried deleting all data and re-downloading and that didn't work. The problem isn't limited to ZBU5- every weekly chart is off, but the daily and monthly charts are fine. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2015-08-23 21:48:09

The solution to this problem is to follow the instructions here to re-download data for all contract months in the chart: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_ContinuousFuturesContractCharts.html#ReDownloading We can see missing data clearly. There is no doubt once that is done according to the documentation you will not have a problem. The chart does display properly: http://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?l=1440370552571.png Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users. I was following those instructions and it didn't work. But I found the issue. I had my days to load set to: 20000. When I reduced it to 2000 then it displayed the chart fine. I had it set to 20000 in SC 1261 and the charts displayed fine. Then when I upgraded to 1282 the weekly charts stopped displaying correctly. I don't see how this is any fault of mine. While I realize requesting 20000 days of data is excessive- it worked before and now it doesn't. That sounds like a bug that needs to be fixed. |

That value is definitely too high, but it should not make a difference. We will test this.
