Hello,

Given an existing spreadsheet (new style), is there a way to add additional formula columns to the spreadsheet such that the existing formulas and columns don't get messed up? Can I just use existing columns starting after the study columns?

Thanks.

Unfortunately, no.
If you had used the ID#.SG# reference (instead of a column reference) when the spreadsheet was first built, you could increase the Number of Formula Columns and the references would be retained, but this assumes you didn't delete that study and add another that took the same ID#.

You can only use columns to the right of the study output columns as non-repeating cells; they won't autofill below. And if you add any study, it's output appears in those columns.

Thank you Tom! Helps a lot. Actually, knowing I can using the columns/cells to the right of the studies as non repeating might do the trick for me.

I'm creating a position sizing formula based on the stop offset for attached orders, and the fact that the offset is right only is making me have to duplicate that formula and the formulas are getting sort of bloated, if you know what I mean:)

For the first post, you need to use this cell referencing method:

To avoid any problems when using more formula columns.
