It appears that even if the IQ Feed client is already listening on the default ports Sierra Chart will still start the iq feed executable. Sometimes starting Sierra Chart will crash the running IQ apps I have as other users on the same box because it fires up another IQ client. This is likely a bug in IQ however a solution I think would work would be if Sierra Chart could check for specified ports to be listening before starting up the IQ exe. If the ports are alerady listening there should be no need to start that exe. What do you think? Thanks |
