We are aware that historical data that many of you are using, is providing wrong prices for Forex and futures. We have let our data provider know about this. They should resolve it this morning. When this is resolved, you just need to go to each Historical Chart for a symbol that is affected and select Edit >> Delete All Data and Download. You only need to do this once for each symbol. Please do not make any postings on the support board about this issue. It will only clutter the board. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users. Try to keep your questions brief and to the point. Logged on this morning 6:30 GMT using Edit >> Delete All Data and Download resulted in correct values for all Daily charts. Re-booted cpu a few minutes ago and data is incorrect for currency futures, metals, energy(apart from CL),YM, Eurex (apart from FGBL). Using Edit >> Delete All Data and Download is not now correcting the problem. For info yesterday's closing price for 6BM3 is 156.42(should be more like 1.5642) SC V985 and TransAct GSP feed. Please investigate. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2013-06-12 07:12:14

We have contacted our data provider about this. We will just have to wait until they resolve this in the Chicago morning.

FYI One might need to quit Sierra and delete the historical symbol's daily data file under the Data directory (eg. E6#.dly) and then restart Sierra.. otherwise data before some date (for me that was 22th of March) might remain shifted even though the Delete & Download Data performed. |

I completed this process and for some reason, my cumulative delta was erased and I now only have about a week's worth of CD plotting on my chart. This is through the IQ Feed's continuous contract back-adjusted [@ES#C]. How can I correct this?

OK, thank you. So if I'm understanding this correctly, when Sierra downloads the tick data after the peak market hours, I will see up to the 120 days (beyond 8 days will be minute data)as I did in the past? No need to confirm if this is correct. If not, please let me know. Thank you, Ben |
