sierra chart running slowly and freezing

This morning I have been running SC and it seems to load the charts fine and tick for a little bit, but then freezes. I use transact for data - and they seem to be fine as data is ticking on their software when i log in directly. please advise as to possible solution. the only thing that seems to work is if I exit and log back in, but then it freezes again anyway.
