Intent: Place Cursor on any Bar, and zoom-in/zoom-out with MouseWheel will leave that Bar stationary, while both, its Bars to the left will expand/compress left-ward, AND, its Bars to the right will expand/compress right-ward, of that Bar. In other words … When zooming with MouseWheel, any Bar the Cursor is located on, shall remain stationary while only all other Bars to the left and to the right, of that Bar, will zoom in and out. One Exception: The Innovative zoom feature shall only be active, if … IF the last LIVE Bar is not displayed on chart; -- or (in other words) -- IF the “Chart Settings Indicators at Lower Right of Chart” = RED ELSE - IF “Chart Settings Indicators at Lower Right of Chart” = GREEN = standard/current zooming shall be active. note1: this is a feature in IG-Markets' IT-Finance web-based charting platform – once you used it, you never want to be without it ! note2: Sierrachart’s current zoom features are cumbersome and lack the above.
