I am traveling and using my laptop to trade. I normally use a desktop at home. The Trade Activity Log does not appear to be posting my activity correctly. I took 2 trades this morning between 8:00 and 8:30 central time and the only way they will show in the TAL is if I query from July 14th, yesterday. The desk top app does not function this way. Trades from today can be queried for the 15th and they will show. Can you help me. Also, I don't have history of my trades showing on the laptop application of SC, and I am told historical activity only resides on my hard drive. So if I buy a new computer, does this mean I lose all of my historical information? I heard about this from another vendor. |

Possibly the Time Zone is not set correctly. Refer to: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_TimeZone.html If this is not the problem, are the Date-Time values for the order fills in the Trade >> Trade Activity Log >> Trade Activity tab correct? You can copy files from one installation of Sierra Chart to another. The time zone is set correctly. The Date-Time values are correct in the Trade Activity tab, but I still have to query for the previous day for the activity for today to show up. The date and time on my computer are correct. It appears I will have to copy the files from the desktop to the laptop when I return to my office and hope that resolves the issue. |

This is not making sense. All Trade Activity with a Date-Time which is equal to or greater than the Date Range >> From Date-Time setting at the top of the Trade Activity Log, will definitively be displayed after pressing the Apply button. We have never known there to be a problem with this. It is next to impossible for this not to work right. Make sure the Date Range >> From Time setting at the top of the Trade Activity Log is set correctly as well. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. I agree with you that this is not making sense. That's why I am so frustrated. I have contacted Top Step and they advised me - From TST support: "I believe Sierra Chart stores previous day's trades in a local database file on your computer. Therefore, if you changed computers or have been trading on 2 separate machines your historical trade history will appear different on each machine." This makes sense since I am now back to my office and on the desktop. The trades I took on the laptop, while away, are not showing in the Trade Activity Log on the desktop. I would like my account to reflect all my trades for analysis of my trading. Can you tell me how I can get/import all of my activity in this account on one computer. Thank you |

Yes, the time on the trade log was set to 16:00:00. I changed it to 00:00:00 and picked up the current day's data. Now I need to get all of the data on one computer as I have trade data scattered over 2 computers and can't properly analyze my trading. Thanks Date Time Of Last Edit: 2015-07-17 20:15:26
