We need to be more clear about specifically what you are referring to in regards to Profit/Loss because there are various Profit/Loss numbers.

For sure, you will have no trouble getting the current Positions from your T4 account, in any other installation Sierra Chart also connected to that same account.

If you are referring to the Trades tab of the Trade Activity Log, that relies upon order fills and the T4 server only maintains order fills for the current day. So unless you are connecting every day just before the end of the trading day, in your other copy of Sierra Chart, Sierra Chart will be missing order fills.

This is hard to avoid.

Ok, so I'm still confused. See my post today. I can get today's trades if I query from the 14th, but not the 15th, even though they are the 15th's trades.

I figured out about 10 days ago, on my desk top/normal trading computer, that I didn't need T4 open to trade, so I quit opening it to try and minimize latency. My trades showed up in the Trade Activity Log without me logging onto T4. So I can't understand how it worked over that time period on the desk top and doesn't work now, and why today's trades taken around 8 am central time today only show if I ask for yesterday and today.
Thanks

Go to Trade >> Trade Activity Log. Select the Trade Activity tab. Is the Date-Time of an order fill incorrect?

Sierra Chart will always have a record of order fills if the orders were entered from Sierra Chart and Sierra Chart was connected at the time that the orders filled.

doesn't work now,
Are you referring to your other computer?

The date and time of the order fill are correct on the Trade Activity Tab. But if I go to the Trades tab, I have to put in the previous day to get today's trades on my laptop I am using while traveling.

"doesn't work now" refers to the laptop I am using while traveling, not the desktop at my office.

OK, therefore it sounds like the Global Settings >> General Trade Settings >> Daily Stats Reset Time is not set correctly. Set it to 00:00.

I checked and it is already set to 00:00:00.

I did raise the number of days to save in the Trade Activity Log since it was only set to 30, but this should not have affected the last few days while traveling with the laptop.

Thanks

OK, sorry, I found the problem on the laptop. The time on the current day was set to 18:00:00. I changed that to 00:00:00 and picked up the current day's trades.

I still would like to be able to load the rest of my activity from this account on one computer. Now that I have used 2 computers I have some trades showing on each computer's trade activity log, but not a complete record of all my activity on any one computer.

Thanks and my apologies

OK good so it sounds like the problem is solved.

The data is held in the TradeActivityLog.DAT file in the Sierra Chart program folder and this file can be copied from one installation of Sierra Chart to another. Make sure you only copy the file when Sierra Chart is not running.

Ok, I'm not techie enough to do this. I have copied the DAT file from the laptop to a flash drive (not easy for me) and have tried to transfer the file to my Sierra Chart DAT file on the desktop. All I get is additional DAT file. I now have DAT, DAT2 and DAT3 files and the trades taken on the laptop do not show up with my desktop trades.

I did all of this without SC running, until I had done the transfer and then opened SC on the desktop and the trades from the laptop didn't show
