I have SC US equities datafeed.

I've noticed it's started getting a big laggy on the open. Today it's the worst it has been to a very unacceptable level.

It only lasts for a few minutes right around the open. Today I was watching, AAPL, BABA, and FEYE. It does tend to "catch up" within 3-4 minutes, but that is a very critical time for me. I'm using a very fast computer, on a very fast internet connection in Manhattan.

We monitored the data feed this morning and we saw a 4 second delay at the open. The problem was not on our server, but with the data feed provided to the server. We will contact the data feed provider about this.


Other than yesterday (2015-06-15), is this what you are noticing?

Specifically, today looked like a stall, and then it caught right up. Yesterday continued to lag behind real time prices for several minutes.

Do you notice any improvement with this, at least sometimes?

On one of the servers we reduced the number of symbols being tracked which should make a difference. Although you would not notice a difference unless you were connected to that server.

No, there is no improvement. I really do like your price point for the data, but I will tell you that I am looking for another provider. It's just not acceptable.

This will be fine. Our first analysis of this is that it is an issue on the source data feed side which we do not have any control over. We will verify this and let them know about it. But we have no idea when they will be able to resolve this.
