At approximately 07:45 UTC time on 2015-06-15 there was a one minute interruption of the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed while we were working on the real-time server. Normally the users should have immediately transferred to our other server but it was disabled and we had not recognized that until about a minute later. This other server which was disabled, has now been enabled. ---- Also for several weeks now, there has been an ongoing intermittent significant (.1% or more at times) packet loss issue during periods of heavy volume with the CME feed. This has been communicated many times to Barchart and we have examined the problem on our side to see if there is anything we can do on our side or if there is any hardware or software issue on our side. A network switch was replaced over the weekend and we are hoping this will resolve it. We have continued to maintain complete historical Intraday data even with the packet loss problem. To ensure you have complete data with accurate volume we recommend re-downloading the data in the chart by right clicking in the chart before the time where you want to download the data and select Delete and Download Data. In regards to the packet loss problem, we are seeing 0% packet loss today. We will wait a week to make sure it is definitely resolved. If so, then a network switch that Barchart replaced solved the problem. On one of the servers, which users were being kept off of, we were seeing very significant packet loss of over 1% at times. We continue to see 0% packet loss with the CME feed. So this continues to be good. The problem has definitely been solved. Update: Now the packet loss problem is solved, hopefully we will be releasing support for futures spread/strategy markets in the next two weeks.
