I am using the study: "Color Bar Based on Alert Condition" and I'd like to see the last 3 triggered bars only. But it do not work because there is no automatically refresh. What I have to do?

Many thanks

I think this could be done with the Spreadsheet Study study.

As great as sierra is, without knowing how to use spreadshetts or more importantly acsil, your missing out on its greatest strengths (imho).

If you are willing to share your trigger conditions, I'll put something together for you.

Many thanks for your support. There are two little formulas. For "green bar": =AND(C[-1] >O[-1], H>H[-1]) and if triggered a green point on low and for the "red bar": =AND(C[-1] <O[-1], L<L[-1]) with a red point on high if triggered. After 3 triggered bars the dot should disapear.

That's it. It is only a little visual help if triggered.

Tom as I told you. My knowledges concernin spreadsheets are running close to zero. I was "playing" a little with the "Depth of Market Data" Study in connection with a spreedsheet study but after I while I gave up. The problem for me was the 10 digits DOM. After 10 digits I did not get any values.

What do you think. Could you help me to put something together? If yes I would open a new thread.

Many thanks for your help.

-Put both of the attached files in your Sierra Chart \Data folder.
-Go to Analysis >> 3trigger-
-When asked 'Clear Existing Studies On Chart?', choose No.

This study will calculate all of the triggers but will only paint the 3 most recent triggered dots, counting the green and red combined.

You don't need to interact with the spreadsheet; you may minimize it.

This is for New Spreadsheets versions only.

Many thanks for your help.
I test it but there were more than 3 dots for each. But no problem. I made a "Quick& Dirty" solution. I changed the "number of rows" to the minimum of 10.
Your Spreadsheet and Study Collection is a good base to study it. Very helpful to get in touch with spreadsheets.

I "played" a little with the spreadsheet and 3trigger study and I do not know why but now it works as it should. After 3 dots the previous disapear.
