Hi S.C. support,

Is there a way to avoid the A column data going beyond the 1000 rows?

I set the row to 1000, but the A column keeps filling the serial time value beyond 1002, and go as far as 47,xxx and does not seem to stop.

My .scss files grow to larger than 16MB and can get larger.

Is there an easy way other than setting the "number of rows" to eliminate the data in A column beyond Row 1002?

Version is 1254 and 1261, Non CLR (New Spreadsheet).

Thank you.

In the case of 1000 rows the data will go to row 1002 but this is normal. We have seen no other problems with additional rows getting filled in.

For additional rows filled in, select Spreadsheet >> Clear Selection. This is all that needs to be done.

First time we have ever heard of a problem like this.

I did that (using the clear selection function, the delete row function would hang the program anyway), the file size shrinks from 16MB to 2MB, then I ran a simulation again, it fills up again the 3 sheets (sheet 1-3) that uses 1 second as time frame.

Other charts using 1 minute or longer do not have the problem.

I attached two screen shots, one from end of A column in sheet 1, the other is from 1003 of A column in sheet 2.
