Hello SC,

Since a few days, I can't flatten my positions (I trade FCE Future). When I use flatten button, I receive the following message in Trade Service Log : "Trade Order Error - CQG order update (Rejected). Info : No current bid avalaible. Internal Order ID--------"
I never had this issue before.
Thanks

Are you trading the most actively traded FCE contract month? We will need to ask CQG about this.

Yes, I trade FCEM5 (F.US.PILM15 for CQG symbol). Liquidity for this contract is correct.

This is what we have told CQG:
We have one user trading F.US.PILM15. When a market order is submitted, an execution report rejecting the order gives the text message:
"No current bid avalaible. "

What is the reason for this?

Exact. I'd just try with "buy market" and "sell market" and there is the same issue than with "Flatten" : "No current ask (or bid) available".
Thanks

This is what CQG said:
What account? Time submitted? Order #?

Usually this happens because the FCM has a setting to Reject risky market orders when no bid or ask is present

When they ask for the order number, this would be the "Service Order ID" you see in Trade >> Trade Orders and Positions >> Orders, for the order.

This is what CQG said:
It was as I thought. There was no ASK price available when the order was submitted

Therefore it looks to us, you are trading in a particular contract which does not have good liquidity.

Thank you for your help Sierra. But il always the same with CQG. It's never their fault.
1) I have been trading FCE with CQG for almost 3 years and I never had this issue before.
2) FCE is not a particular contract. It's only french Indice contract. There are more than 100.000 contracts traded by day (idem Dax). There is absolutly no liquidity problem.
I'm very surpised of their answer. They obviously don't know what is FCE and they did not even bother to look for what it is.

Message sent to CQG:

The user has provided us this image showing the current market depth for the F.US.PILM15 market:
https://www.sierrachart.com/Download.php?Folder=SupportBoard&download=5193

They continue to get the same error message when submitting market orders. They trade this market frequently and say they have not encountered this error before.
