Simple MA of 5 min pivot

Hi, Im trying to display a simple moving average of say, a 5 min pivot point. The MA displays correctly but at the close of market the MA goes to zero. I have tried everything with regards to missing data etc etc etc but the problem will not go away. Also tried changing market open/close times but no result? It makes no difference if I use Volume bars, time bars etc. please help!! Many thanks |

Hi there, Yes already done that, it does improve things (in some cases anyhow) but still got the same problem? cheers |

Thinking about this, it would not totally solve the problem. You probably would have to create a Moving Average study that ignores zeros and use that.
