hi If I have a spreadsheet that I want to use in multiple chartbooks with multiple charts, how do I do that ? Do I have to make duplicates ? I have a simple autotrade spreadsheet set up that I would like to use on several instruments. Can the same one be used in different locations and on different instruments ? shane |

You can use the same-named spreadsheet on all of your charts in the same chartbook, even on different instruments. Each chart will be on its own sheet, and by default, will be numbered the same as the chart number. Use the Spreadsheet Name field to name each one the same name, or you can copy the spreadsheet and its settings with a Save Single study collection on the source chart. Be sure to check 'Prompt to Remove Existing Studies'. Then from the destination chart go to Analysis and select the study collection.

The same-named spreadsheet study on each chart need not have the same Settings, and each sheet can have unique formulas. If each sheet has unique formulas, be sure that the Formula Source Sheet Number matches the sheet#/chart#. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2015-05-04 15:16:05

Shane, see the correction in post $4. The Settings do not need to be the same.
