I haven’t downloaded Sierra yet. I have an "over-the-air" internet connection that isn't as robust as say a Comcast or Verizon over-the-wires connection which aren’t available where I live. Recently I tried to set up Ninja Trader and it downloaded ok but once it was running the charts would sometimes freeze as I guess my internet provider couldn't handle such a large amount of information (I’m not very tech savvy).I'm concerned that Sierra may also be too large a program and that my Sierra charts will freeze. > All I really need is a basic package with futures charts, range bars, indicators and the DOM. Is there any way I could lighten the Sierra program either maybe by not getting parts of it I don't need or deleting parts of it once I get it or is there a "Sierra lite" package? > Thanks |

Refer to Reducing Network Bandwidth Requirements for Sierra Chart here: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/helpdetails4.html#h4.9 What you are describing is only an issue with network bandwidth. The only concern is to keep the network bandwidth usage to a minimum. The Sierra Chart program itself is not going to be too much of a load on your system.
