Hello! I´m still trying to resolve the issue with my bank about the Maestro card and I was just going to "study" charts while it didn´t work with old data, since I don´t have the real time data for this month. But when I opened the charts for SPY and QQQ, which are the etf´s I usually follow, I saw that they were ticking and the watch in the chart matches the real time. What kind of that is this that I´m seeing in these charts?

From what we can tell you are using the Interactive Brokers data feed.

I thought of that, but the charts from IB and this one are slightly different. Is it possible that the charts are different in Sierra and TWS if both are using IB´s data feed?

They could look different if your computer's clock is not set completely accurately. Refer to help topic 38:

And there could be other reasons as well. This is not unusual with Interactive Brokers.

That must be it. How stupid of me. So, if I want to do simulated trading with quality data (not the junk from IB) I should pay for the Package 3 of Sierra Chart and use the delayed historical data that Sierra Provides?

Did you need the delayed streaming data? Or just historical Minute data that does not update?

I didn't realize there were these two options looking at the pricing table. What would be the costs of it? The delayed streaming data is USD 27, I imagine, belonging to package 3. Right? And the minute data that does not update, how much does this cost?

For 27 USD a month for service package 3, this includes the Sierra Chart Historical Data Service which includes Historical Daily and Intraday data for US equities which is not streaming data and is delayed 15 minutes.

For an additional 35 USD a month plus an exchange fee of about 2.50 a month you can get the BATS exchange, which will give you real-time US equities data.

OK. I changed my package from 1 to 3. I tried paying for the Package 3 first, but it told me that I had package one and that I had to change it to 3. I did so and it informed me that the package had been changed and that I should restart Sierra Charts to use the new package. I restarted it and changed in the "Data/Trade Service Settings" from "Interactive Brokers" to "SC Historical Data(data)" and it accepted it. But how can this be if I didn´t pay for the usage of package 3 yet?

When you change your Sierra Chart Service Package, the usage time on your account is updated to reflect the price difference between the two Service Packages. This is designed in such a way to make package changes simpler for users.

OK.So is there any way I could get a delayed streaming tick by tick data(could be SPY, QQQ or even ES)? If so, how much would it cost? My intention is to do simulated trading and test methods that I´m currently developing. I spend the whole day, everyday following the market and I´m trying to test a volume bar/tick bar approach.
