Frozen charts/prices

Hello,

I am connected via Interactive Brokers and use IQfeed data.

As of today I have problem with charts.

The price is not moving. If I reconnect again, SC reload all data till the time of reload, but the price of all charts is "frozen" and not loading new data.

Go to the instance/ copy of Sierra Chart connected to IQ Feed and open a chart for one of the symbols that is not updating and see if the chart updates there.

If not, refer to help topic 3:

If it does update there, also refer to help topic 3 for reasons why the chart may not be updating in the instance of Sierra Chart connected to IB.

It sounds like you are not receiving the real-time data from IQ Feed. Help topic 3.4 will confirm this:

I did not find the solution.

I went to the instance/ copy of Sierra Chart connected to IQ Feed and opened a chart.
Chart do not updates in realtime, however it updates once, in the case when I switch off/on data connection.

I communicated with IQfeed support:
" We’re not experiencing any data issues on this side."



I excersised the followings in the instance/copy of Sierra Chart connected to IQ Feed:

1.
After these two steps:
File >> Disconnect
File >> Connect to Data Feed.

the data were downloaded, however only once. Afterwards no updating takes place.


2.
No values are displayed in: Window >> Current Quote Window

3.
Chart >> Chart Settings on the menu.
I checked the following and there is no checkmark by Advanced Settings >> Disable Data File Updating

4. This box is set to blank:
Main Settings >> Use Date Range >> To

5.
File / Connect to datafeed - is disabled.

Both of the following are a clear indication the problem is on the IQ Feed side. Contact them again and insist there is something wrong with the transmission of the real-time data.

Possibly restarting the IQ Feed software may be enough. Refer to step 10 here:
