I'm connected to the SC Historical Data, and I have opened intraday charts for various instruments without any problem. but I just can't seem to be able to open any intraday chart for Hang Seng Index, all that I have opened are just blank. does anybody know the cause of this? the exchange is not identified as End of Day only. |

ok, I just saw it that Worldwide Futures Exchanges are all end of day only, that solves the mystery. but I still need intraday real time data for Hang Seng Index and Kospi, does anybody know where to get them? |

Personally I trade HSI futures every day and at various points I've subscribed to the index (interactive brokers). I've also checked that IB's is the same as other sources (it is). My conclusion over the years has been that it adds no value. Futures can and does diverge from it in interesting, unpredictable ways and arbitrage seems best left to the locals so I run a Python script to collect eod index data but no longer bother with intraday. If you were going to use components to attempt to develop a market internals view that might be worth while. Not my thing but useful for some styles of trading. |
