Hi SC- I have a request for an enhancement to the Volume by Price study. When the study is set to plot multiple volume profiles, I would like the volume profiles to have different sizing based on the actual volume within the profile. A theoretical example is if I have two volume profiles, the one that had twice as much volume traded at price X would be twice as wide at price X. This would allow me to have a more meaningful comparison of the profile structures. Right now the volume profiles regardless of volume traded have the same thickness which is kind of misleading. Even better, though more difficult to implement, would be compare and size each volume profile within a single chart, regardless if from one Volume by Price study with multiple volume profiles or five different Volume by Price studies. All volume profiles within a single chart would have be sized based on how much volume traded at each price. The data is there, so not sure the difficultly of having realistic/comparable sizing. I appreciate your attention to this enhancement request. Thanks, Jake |

This was reviewed and we are still contemplating the best way to do this. Although this particular request is something that we would not add: Even better, though more difficult to implement, would be compare and size each volume profile within a single chart, regardless if from one Volume by Price study with multiple volume profiles or five different Volume by Price studies.
