Hello. The platform has been freezing on me. Happened several times yesterday and a couple of times today. Is only for a few seconds but sometimes for extended periods up to a minute or more. |

We see you are using LMAX and we think what you are referring to is the charts stop updating. There was a problem yesterday with the real-time server which is used with LMAX. If this is not the issue, then describe precisely what you mean by "freezing" because it is a vague term. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. The charts stop updating and I cannot click on menus, drawings or do anything with the charts. Also can't use other programs (such as internet browser) until problem has resolved itself

Refer to help topic 30: High CPU Usage | Inactive User Interface | Poor Performance | Long Time to Load Chart Data | Charts Reloading Often If other programs are affected we suspect it might have something to do with help topic 30.8: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/helpdetails30.html#h30.8 Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Hello This problem persists. Sierra charts and scid files are excluded from windows defender and firewall. No other virus/malware software is running. I have 6 detached charts across 6 monitors. 2x10second, 2x1minute and 2x5minute. Each chart has 5 emas, pivot point study and current price line study. I use 1 millisecond update but even if I change to 500ms I still get freezing issues. I have an Intel I5-4670k, 8 gig ram and SSD so my computer should be fine. Any ideas Cheers |

Is only Sierra Chart freezing? Or other programs on the system as well? When you notice the freeze, what is the CPU usage of Sierra Chart as shown in the Windows Task Manager? And how many cores does the Windows task manager show. More information about each of these is described in help topic 4.3 here: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/helpdetails4.html#h4.3 Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
