When I draw parallel lines I have all the options checked, enable vertical lines, mark anchors, extend forward, allow horizontal shift. This will show me the dots that I have to connect with a ray or line to draw the midline of the parallel lines. Unfortunately when I switch tools from parallel rays to a line or ray to draw the midline, the dots will disappear. I need those dots to remain while I switch tools. How is that done? Or is there another way of drawing the midline between parallel lines. Thanks

If you want a midline between the parallel lines, you need to add a 50% Level to the Parallel Lines configuration: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_Tools.html#DrawingToolConfiguration Refer specifically to the Parallel Lines subsection in this section.
