Hi I run 2 x SC on my computer (1 x for futures and 1 x for Forex). I want to run the Futures SC charts set to the US timezone and the Forex SC set to the London timezone. When I try to do this however, even though the settings in the Trade server Time Zone are set correctly (and I can see the correct timezones working in the very top Window Title Frame), I find the timescale on my charts both show the same time zone and won't seem to operate independently so I can work these two separate Timezones. Is there something I'm not selecting or setting correctly to allow these timezones to operate separately so the chart axis in SC1 shows the different timezone to chart axis in SC2? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks in advance |

Each chart can override the global Time Zone setting and that is possible what is happening. The time zone control is in Chart >> Chart Settings >> Advanced Settings. I have setup almost 100 charts - but the Global timezone is not changing them. Do I need to go into each chart individually to now change them from the timezone they were originally created using? Or re-establish charts duplicated from one with the correct timezone within it? Or is there a setting somewhere to apply the Global timezone to all charts? Thanks again. |

Do I need to go into each chart individually to now change them from the timezone they were originally created using? Yes if they are not set to use the global time zone. No other way around this.

How do I set them (or at least my new ones that I redo now) to use the Global Timezone so this will not happen next time? |

By default charts are set to use the global time zone. So there is nothing special to do for new charts.

But there must be a setting or selection somewhere because I didn't do anything to the timezone until after I finished setting up my charts. To establish all my Forex charts weeks ago, I just duplicated the first one I opened. I only decided to try changing the timezone a few days ago. So either I made a selection somewhere with my original chart OR the default in mine ISN'T to use Global time zone. I don't want to have to start over again by repeating the same problem when I set my charts up again now. I'm assuming there must be a check box I mistakenly altered somewhere? If not, why is the default not working? |

Go to one of the charts where the time zone does not match the global time zone. Select Chart >> Chart Settings >> Advanced Settings. What is the Time Zone set to?

Ahhhh thankyou. It is set to London time. I see that amongst the choices there is a selection for Global settings. I must have changed it in my first chart instead of changing it in the Data/ Trade service settings. So am I correct that if I now recreate all my charts by duplicating a chart that I ensure has Global settings selected within it, I will not repeat this problem, will I? If Yes, thankyou for clarifying this for me. |
