Monthly chart of crude oil (CL) shows oil dipping to $47.31 in 2009, when price actually dipped to low $30s. I use CQG-AMP data feed; I have continuous contract-volume based rollover setting selected (no back-adjust) http://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?l=1424497184199.png |

We are going to put together some formal documentation for this but basically there is a limitation to the number of years you can go back in time based on the service package you have. If you enable Chart >> Show Rollover Dates, you will see that where the volume is low that is one contract and there is no other contracts loaded before then. For a longer-term view you can use the symbol CL# Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users. Ok that worked - changed all my symbols to # format and now able to load much more data (and accurately). Now the problem is the 'Price Display Format' is no longer automatic; e.g. when I change symbol from ZN (quoted in 1/64) to CL, CL price is displayed as "49 16.25/32" Any way to fix this?

You have to manually set up the symbol settings for those symbols in Global Symbol Settings: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_GlobalSymbolSettings.php Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
