Hello:
I have 3 charts (3 min., 5 min., and 15 min.) that are linked to the futures list in my QuoteBoard. The 3 min. chart is attached to Trade Windows and Trading Chart DOM. Also, I have one volume based chart for every symbol on that list that are not linked to the QuoteBoard, but their Chart DOM, and Show Order And Position are activated.

Using the 3 min. chart I traded a contract of NQ with a specified stop and target. While the NQ contract was running in the background, I traded one CL contract and I see both of those trades on the volume charts.

If I pick another symbol to watch other than NQ and CL on those 3 min., 5 min., and 15 min. charts, then none of my stops or targets will function and the price goes through them, why or what am I doing wrong? As soon as, I select them from QouteBoard again, then they get me out at whatever price the market is trading if and if they have reached the stop or target.

God Bless
Ben
Thanks

Hello:
Yes, all of the test have been done in SIM. I did not want to trade live with real money, after my observation.

Next?, I have used SC for more than 2 years to trade futures only. Do you know brokers that let us use Sierra Chart for stock trading.

God Bless
Ben
Thanks again.

-From documentation:
For in order to be evaluated for a fill, the following needs to be true:

The original chart the order is entered from needs to continue to be open.
The original chart the order is entered from continues to need to have Trade >> Chart Trade Mode On checked.
The original chart the order is entered from needs to have the Trade Account set to the same Trade Account that was being used when the order was originally entered.

-For stock trading you can use the Interactive Brokers or TD Ameritrade supported services.
