Hi. If i want to set up an alert, either using a simple formula, or perhaps creating an alert on a chart drawing like a ray, do I need to have the Sierra charts open on my PC, in order for the alerts to work, or will it work even if they are closed, and my PC is switched off. Reason for the question is, the alert seems to work when i using the charts, but when I switch off my PC I do not seem to get an email or an SMS alert sent to me. |

Yes, Sierra Chart does need to be running for alert condition evaluation to be working.
