Dear Support board, The present daily start up of my Sierra charts is due to long patience. Waiting to download historical data after opening teh charts takes more than 30 minutes. That is not a pleasant situation. The total number of days to download is limited to 30 days only. This phenomenon did not happen in the past. Where does the long delay come from? How can I trust for a quick start with my charts again? Looking forward to your answer and solution. Regards, Peter van Soest Date Time Of Last Edit: 2015-01-28 12:06:36

We see you are using IB. Therefore, refer to the instructions here for this: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/IB.php#SlowDownloading It is also possible if the historical price data is being downloaded from the Sierra Chart historical data service, that there is a connection problem and the data downloading is very slow. In this case, refer to this help topic: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_HistoricalIntradayData.html#ErrorDownloadingDataSCHistoricalDataServer Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
